Hi, I'm Brett.
Senior Client Partner, Public Sector · Cloudflare
I help Australian government and enterprise teams secure what they've already built: Zero Trust that works in real environments, protection at the edge, and AI adoption that doesn't outrun its governance.
What I'm working on
Cloudflare · Oct 2025 – PresentAustralian agencies are being asked to adopt AI faster than they can govern it, on infrastructure that was never built to face the public internet. That gap is where I work: what gets exposed, to whom, and on whose terms.
AI without the exposure
Securing AI transformation across human and agentic workflows, reviewing data governance and compliance so agencies can adopt AI with confidence, not caveats.
Access built on identity
Making Zero Trust practical: access tied to identity and sensible policy, so corporate data stays protected wherever people work best.
Faster, safer at the edge
Managing traffic across hybrid environments, handling real threats like bots and volumetric attacks, and lifting application performance at the edge.

How I work
AboutMost technology problems aren't really technology problems. A security stack grown to fourteen tools nobody owns. A migration that answered one question and created six. A team that knows what's broken but can't get the budget conversation to land. Underneath, these are translation problems: a gap between what the engineers know and what the executives are asked to sign.
I've worked at every altitude of technology, from support calls to service delivery, IT leadership, solution engineering and vendor sales. That gives me the technical depth to be credible with your engineers, the leadership experience to be useful to your executives, and enough time on the delivery end to know which milestones are achievable on a Tuesday afternoon.
The work sits in a few places. Protecting and accelerating edge applications, where security and performance rarely have to be a trade-off. Bringing Zero Trust and defence in depth into environments that already exist, not the greenfield versions from vendor slides. And helping teams get to yes on AI safely: what a model exposes, where the guardrails belong, and which threats are genuinely new.
What I care about most is leaving clients better informed than I found them. Not dependent on me, informed. A team that understands how a threat works makes better decisions under pressure than one working from a checklist, long after I've moved on.
If your environment has quietly become more complicated than anyone intended, get in touch.
